The Little Bead Shop & Art Clay Scotland share the same premises in Bruntsfield, one of Edinburgh's most beautiful and desirable areas. You'll find us at number 96 Brunstfield Place, nestling amongst exclusive boutiques, gift shops, cafes, Bistros and Bars.

Inside our shop you will find a fresh and constantly changing selection of glass beads as well as a huge range of Swarovski crystal, Toho seed beads, Faceted Czech Beads, Fresh Water Pearls and more! We also have a wide range of tools and findings to choose from. We run a wide variety of Jewellery making classes from Beginners Beading to Chainmaille and Silver smithing techniques. For Art Clay Scotland you will find the full range of Art Clay Precious Metal Clays, as well as all the necessary tools, books and metal clay goodies like magazines and texture sheets. We've been running courses in Precious Metal Clay for three years now and offer the widest variety of courses anywhere in Scotland. Our teacher is the Senior Instructor Emma Baird who has seen her work published in numerous UK Magazines, has won multiple awards, and is also currently the Art Clay World UK's Chairman. The Little Bead Shop/Art Clay Scotland really is more than just a shop - we are a hive of activity. You are welcome to call by anytime and use our jewellery making facilities and tools completing your latest design at our "beading table". We have a large range of beading books and magazines available for you to look at if you need some inspiration.The Little Bead Shop Owner Gil Baird is always on hand should you need any help to finish off your jewellery. She is also a dab hand with Precious Metal Clay and can help you with any questions you may have!

On top of all of this we offer unique parties and a repair/restringing service.

We are thrilled to announce the first Level One Certification of the new year. Taking place in March this course is for experienced students looking to take their metal clay work to the next level. Over three days students complete 7 set projects, providing a thorough education in all the basic methods of working with metal clay. Scottish Bead Fair

Precious Metal Clay Courses

The full day Introduction to Precious Metal Clay Class on the 14th February is now FULL. A new course has been added on Sunday the 21st of March.
